Post Traumatic Stress Disorder therapy

If you're a survivor of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, or if you've experienced a traumatic event— such as a serious car accident, an assault, natural disaster, or combat experience—you may suffer from PTSD. Flashbacks, nightmares, depression, feeling too much, or feeling numb are all common experiences that may seriously impact your ability to get on with your life.

If you:

  • Often replay the experience in your thoughts or nightmares;
  • Avoid people, places, or things that remind you of the event;
  • Have difficulty maintaining a solid relationship;
  • Become withdrawn or feel guilty;
  • Feel nervous and vulnerable all the time;
  • Have difficulty sleeping or relaxing;

then you should contact me as soon as you can. The sooner you start to overcome the effects of PTSD, the better you will feel.

The healing process can sometimes be a long and complex journey. I will help you with effective techniques, so that you can manage your emotions in the present, and learn how to orient your trauma as part of your past, where it belongs.
